Autistic Spectrum Disorders:
These projects are designed to provide technical assistance and training to school personnel working with students with autistic spectrum disorders.
Sample Project Components/Outcomes:

- Strategies to Support Social Inclusion
- Guidelines and Training for One-to-One Assistants
Moderate to Severe Disabilities:
These projects are designed to provide technical assistance and training to school personnel working with students with moderate to severe cognitive disabilities.
Sample Project Components/Outcomes:
- Use of systematic instruction strategies in the classroom
- Identifying and teaching functional academic skills
- Aligning critical functional skills with the core curriculum
- Providing assistance for classroom behavior management
Transition:
Transition projects are designed to provide technical assistance and training to school districts in developing and implementing transition programs that facilitate the movement from school to post-school activities. Project components can be tailored for students at the middle or high school level.
Sample Project Components/Outcomes:
- Demonstration of lessons/activities linked to standards
- Strategies to identify interests/strengths and individual transition needs
- Development of individual transition planners for each participant
