Young children learn through routines and play. As language learning requires a rich, meaningful context, it is important that we support our students using Augmentative-Alternative Communication (AAC) within their daily routines at school and at home. This training will review why routines and understanding development matter, how to turn routines into learning opportunities, ways to create communication opportunities and support our students within their routines, and ideas on how to differentiate activities for a range of abilities.
